BBC World Service (WS) will be looking at the 99 beautiful names of Allah, which Muslims believe is revealed in the Quran.
Each one, according to the faithful, highlights a different attribute or quality of Allah. And the practice of repeating and chanting these names is particularly important to Sufis, who follow the mystical branch of Islam.
