AFTER spending close to two years campaigning for healthy school meals in Britain, Jamie Oliver decided he needed a break. And so, with his trusty VW camper van and specially built trailer kitchen, the chef-TV host-author set off for Italy on a six-week road trip in mid-2005 to rediscover his love of cooking. 

The result? A brand new lip-smackin’ show called Jamie’s Great Italian Escape, which traces the Naked Chef’s culinary adventures in the land of pizza and pasta.
