Watching a three-hour award show like the Grammies at home can get tiring, but it’s really no different live. NIKI CHEONG experienced the world’s biggest music awards show first hand last week in Los Angeles.  

ALLOW me to indulge in my ego a little. Ever since I discovered the television (well, okay, since they started showing award shows on Malaysian television at least), I have faithfully watched the Grammy awards year after year. After all, I’m a big fan (read: addict) of popular culture – how could I resist all the glamour, success and performances that are basically what award shows are about?
