THE splendour of the songket is set to dazzle at Anugerah Skrin TV3 (AST) 2005, which will be held at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, this Friday.  

The elaborate material is the choice for the upcoming awards as TV3 is playing host to the national campaign, Songket – The Regal Heritage, under the patronage of the Prime Minister’s wife, Datin Paduka Seri Endon Mahmood. The songket will be incorporated into the main stage decor and overall dress code for the guests and host of the event.
