AS she closed a big chapter of her career with the taping of the final episode of CBS’ hit comedy Everybody Loves Raymond recently, the show’s Emmy-winning star Patricia Heaton is making the move to ABC, inking a development deal with the alphabet network and its sister studio Touchstone TV.  

Under the seven-figure pact, which will run more than a year, Heaton would star in series and long form projects for the studio and the network, on which she will serve as co-executive producer.
