ROCK The World, of course, is the most popular yearend festival for music fans here. This year’s line-up for Rock The World 9 has been confirmed with nearly 60 local acts booked to play three stages at Sunway Lagoon, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, on Dec 19.

Everyone loves variety and diversity these days and the festival organisers Fat Boys have been paying attention to the stirrings in the live scene. The appearance of KL-raised singer-songwriter Zee Avi, now based in New York, is a much anticipated highlight. It will be Zee’s first major local performance since moving to the United States to further her career more than a year ago.
