AEROSMITH will take a break from working on a new studio album to tour Europe this summer for the first time since 1999. The trek begins June 6 in Randers, Denmark, and will run through July 12 in Moscow. Beforehand, the group will play in Dubai and Mumbai, India. Also on the itinerary is a June 24 appearance at the London festival Hyde Park Calling.
“It’s been way too long since we’ve played Britain and Europe,” says guitarist Joe Perry. “Some of the most unforgettable gigs in my life have been played to incredible European fans.” As for the group’s next album, no release date has been set, but Perry told Billboard.com last August, “There’s a lot of songs there that I think have the grit and the meat of what a lot of people expect from Aerosmith.”
