I think we got enough negative stuff in the past to be exempt now. The band’s been going for 20 years – after such an investment of time, why change the name? And Iggy (Pop) likes the name. No higher praise 

As expected, the classic trio line-up of Genesis will play 20 European stadium dates next summer, with a US tour due to be announced shortly. The re-formed line-up of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks will begin the European tour at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki on June 11 and end on July 14 with a free concert in Rome opposite the Colosseum. Twenty yet-to-be-announced US dates are also on the agenda.
