He was not among the flamboyant rockers in the Rock Star mansion. In fact, Ryan Star came across as a loner; brooding and perhaps anti-social. However, as the weeks went by, Star not only opened up with his fellow rockers, he upped the ante on stage as well.  

Though there was never any doubt that he could sing, Star blew audiences away with his affecting renditions of REM classic Losing My Religion and later Phil Collins’ In the Air Tonight.
