Scottish experimental outfit Mogwaiarrived in Singapore last week for theirfirst ever show in the region andtreated the crowd to a master class inexperimental rock, writes ZACK YUSOF. 

AT the entrance of the plush Esplanade Theatre, Mogwai fans who had turned up to watch the band perform their debut South-East Asian show last week were greeted by a sign that read: “Free Ear Plugs! We are giving away free ear plugs for you to use should you find the performance too loud.”
