THE Raconteurs, the band staffed by the White Stripes’ Jack White, Brendan Benson and the Greenhornes’ Patrick Keeler and Jack Lawrence, will release their debut single, Steady, As She Goes b/w Store Bought Bones on 7-inch vinyl on March 7 in North America via Third Man/V2.  

The band’s newly launched Web site, modelled on the interface of an early Apple computer, is streaming the audio for both tracks on the single, which was released last week in Britain. In May, the Raconteurs will bring forth their first album, Broken Boy Soldiers. Tour dates are expected to be announced shortly.
