THE most prestigious music awards show in the country – Anugerah Industri Musik (AIM) – is getting ready to host this year’s event on April 29 at Dewan Merdeka, Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur. This marks the 13th year since the annual music awards show began and although the nominations are still being tabulated and the final list will be released on March 15, AIM organising committee chairman Rosmin Hashim said that there has been a dip in the overall nominations this year.
“The total nominations this year has dropped by almost 11%. We received a total of 433 nominations this year compared to 485 last year,” said Rosmin at an AIM press call last week.
