Many budding singers are busy preparing for the Malaysian Idol and Akademi Fantasia 3 auditions these days. But for those of you with the unique talent for singing Chinese golden oldies (or shi dai qu), why not take part in Dama Orchestra’s singing competition? 

In conjunction with the official launch of Dama Orchestra’s Memories DVD (pic), the group is also holding a Memories singing competition next month. The launch-cum-competition will be held at the Mont Kiara International School (22, Jalan Kiara, Mont Kiara) in Kuala Lumpur on April 9 at 8pm. Award-winning soprano Tan Soo Suan is scheduled for a performance at the event, accompanied by the Dama Orchestra.
