SOMEBODY had better start getting the Malaysian electro-clash scene going soon. If the fact that Singapore electro-clash outfit Zircon Govt Pawn Starz collaborated with Munich’s electronic pop/multimedia trio Chicks on Speed on its debut album last year isn’t enough, then the big news that the Chicks on Speed will actually be playing a gig at Zouk Singapore on March 18 will definitely leave a lot of electro-clash and disco punters here green with envy.  

The Chicks on Speed, featuring former New Yorker Melissa Logan, Australian Alex Murray-Leslie and Munich native Kiki Moorse, have emerged as a multi-tasking force, exploiting all facets of art and music since they emerged from the Munich Art Academy in 1997. Their gig at Zouk Singapore is presented by Goethe Connections.
