Helping hand

GODHEAD singer/guitarist/songwriter Jason Miller is hoping to arrange an all-star release to raise funds for victims of the tsunami that struck Eastern Africa and Southern Asia late last month. Miller has verbal commitments from members of Evanescence, Jane’s Addiction, 311, Papa Roach, Trapt, Hoobastank, A Perfect Circle and Avril Lavigne’s band willing to take part in recording the original song Forever in Our Hearts.

“I, like most people, was glued to the television watching the horror unfold,” Miller said. “I felt completely powerless. I gave the maximum amount that I could afford, but I still felt like I had done nothing.”
