Exclusive interview with Sting

On Feb 1, Sting brings his long awaited Sacred Love World Tour to Kuala Lumpur. As a primer of the big concert to come, ANN MARIE CHANDY met the seasoned British pop superstar in Singapore for an exclusive interview.

AT the distinguished age of 53, musician Sting still knows how to pack a fantastic punch. The 10,000 full-house crowd which had congregated at Singapore’s Indoor Stadium for the first show on the Australasian leg of his Sacred Love World Tour on Monday night could readily attest to this fact. The concert was a fabulous two-hour affair of non-stop Sting classics, as well as a choice few numbers off his latest offering, Sacred Love.
