HERE’S a quick rundown on the filmmakers featured in 15Malaysia and what their movies are about, as well as their release dates.

Ho Yuhang: The Petaling Jaya-born and bred filmmaker graduated with an engineering degree from Iowa State University before opting for a career in filmmaking. His first feature length film Min won the Special Jury Prize at the Festival Des 3 Continents in Nantes, France. His subsequent features and shorts won more prizes, including the NETPAC Award and the Tiger Award for Best Short at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. This was followed by his third and most renowned feature film so far – Rain Dogs – which became the first Malaysian film to be nominated in the Venice International Film Festival in 2006.
