Barry Sonnenfeld is in negotiations to direct the supernatural action-adventurer, The Box, for 20th Century Fox. Evan Spiliotopoulos is penning the screenplay, which serves up a contemporary take on the myth of Pandora’s box.  

Box centres on a college grad with an uncertain future who is tricked into opening the mythical box, unwittingly unleashing the evils trapped within. He must then team with Pandora to save the world from destruction.
