ON the brighter side of things, we are going to see the return of Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns (June 29). He, of course, plays Superman’s archenemy, Lex Luthor in the film directed by Bryan Singer. Believe it or not, the last film that made it to our shore with Spacey was Austin Powers in Goldmember, and that was just a cameo role. Prior to that Malaysian cinemas last featured him in Pay It Forward in 2000. Spacey should just give up his duties as the chief of Old Vic Theatre Company in London and make more movies.  

Now that Hugh Jackman has admitted that there’s going to be a movie centred on his Wolverine character sometime next year, saying goodbye to the X-Men series featuring the very interesting Wolverine won’t be so hard. X-Men: The Last Stand (May 25), directed by Brett Ratner, is said to be the final part of the series.
