THE best way to waylay a star is to catch him with his pants down. So I arrive at the pretentiously named Harry Winston private beach (reserved only for their guests at Villa St Andrea) to see Joseph Fiennes swim. Though out on a boat, I can see his lanky figure jumping into the sea. A few desultory laps, some dives and he quickly climbs onboard. Back on terra firma, I sidle up to comment on his quick swim.  

“Jellyfish!” he exclaims in annoyance. “Just when the water looks so inviting. I didn’t get stung though someone told me they are harmless but I am not interested to prove them wrong!
