This house is made to melt, artfully

Made to melt: It's still standing for now but British artist Alex Chinneck's latest installation, this house made of wax bricks, will gradually melt over the month of October. Check back in November for the update.

British artist Alex Chinneck has turned houses upside down and even made them slide into the street. Now, he's built one to melt.

A Pound of Flesh for 50p is the latest project by British artist Alex Chinneck, famous for his previous creation Minor on the Moon (also known as The Upside Down House). The life-size construction has been made to look as realistic as possible and features double-glazed windows, drainpipes and a tiled roof – except that it's made entirely of wax.
