Tesla launches new US$45,000 Model 3

Tesla Inc on Thursday introduced a new US$45,000 version of its Model 3 sedan on its website, launching the car as U.S. tax breaks for Tesla cars are about to decrease.

Country Heights to pump RM500mil into Mines Car

SERI KEMBANGAN: Country Heights Holdings Bhd (CHHB) will be allocating RM500mil to develop its Mines Car City Centre (MCCC), one of the four new ventures the company is embarking on to diversify its property business.

CHHB executive director Matahari Lee (pic) said the company will be consolidating RM1.3bil worth of assets and facilities with the Klang Valley for MCCC.

Oil prices fall after US crude inventories rise

NEW YORK: Oil prices fell on Wednesday after U.S. crude inventories rose by much more than expected and exports fell, while the dollar added to gains after minutes showed Federal Reserve policy makers largely united on the need to raise borrowing costs further.

WTI fell 2.63 percent to $70.03 per barrel and Brent was last at $80.32, down 1.34 percent on the day.

Tesla secures Shanghai site for US$2bil China Gigafactory

BEIJING: Tesla Inc has signed an agreement with the Shanghai government for an 860,000 sq m plot of land to build its first overseas Gigafactory, the electric carmaker said in a Chinese social media post.
