Open for business: Businesses may resume from Monday onwards as the government initiates plans to restart the economy.

IN recent days, the narrative among the business community has shifted from one of doom and gloom to that of strategising a recovery plan in preparation for the lifting of the movement control order (MCO).

Amidst a slowdown in new Covid-19 cases and with major economies considering a reopening this month, the Prime Minister’s announcement that businesses may resume this coming Monday would have brought added cheer to many.
