THAT was a life transforming journey wasn’t it, said PKT Logistics chief executive officer and group managing director Datuk Michael Tio as we boarded the KLIA aerotrain upon touching down on Malaysian soil after a 13-hour direct flight from London’s Heathrow Airport.
Having walked over 120 km or 170,000 steps, driven over 1,700 km and burned about 7,000 calories in the process, the 11-day sojourn to the southwest region of the United Kingdom was certainly a one-of-a-kind trip that is etched across the memories of 20 Malaysians who made up the members of the tenth Datuk Michael Tio Study Tour (DMTST10).
