KEPONG will be welcoming another “pearl” from Aikbee Group as it launched its newest project, the Unio Residence KL North.

The 38-storey residence with 520 serviced apartment units offers 60 facilities which include a 60m rooftop infinity pool, a 360-degree-view gym, as well as a rooftop amphitheatre and cinema.

According to the developer, the design of the residence was engineered with a composition of two apartment blocks with continuous metallic fins that link the facilities.

Unio Residence will also have a four-tier enhanced security feature throughout the compound, with 24-hour CCTV surveillance, IP-based video intercom systems as well as controlled access to every floor of the residence.

Apart from the advanced security measures, the company commissioned Joey Yap Group Ltd to spearhead Unio’s feng shui project with Datuk Joey Yap as the chief consultant.

The residence also promotes a greener concept through sustainable living and user- friendly designs as all detached and semi-detached units will support natural lighting as well as a solar energy system.

The developer said energy-saving LED lights would be used in all units and common areas, electrical charging ports would be available for hybrid cars while child-safe and disabled-friendly ramps would be made accessible throughout the building.

Unio Residence marked its grand launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Unio Residence Sales Gallery led by Aikbee Group managing director Datuk Tan Aik Kiong, non-executive director Sua Ah Booi and executive chairman Datuk Tan Aik Chong.

Visitors to the gallery were treated to servings of food before witnessing a lion dance performance by the Malaysia Khuan Loke Dragon and Lion Dance Association troupe.

Unit buyers as well as visitors stood a chance to be the lucky draw participants who went home with prizes worth a total of RM200,000.

Activities held during the grand launch included free popcorn and cotton candy giveaways, sand art, a clown as well as a saxophone and violin performance.
