PROPERTY developer UOA Group has introduced a stunning addition to its notable creations in Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur – the South Link Lifestyle Apartments.
As the name suggests, the project is strategically located in Bangsar South and is easily accessible via public transportation and major highways such as Federal Highway, Sprint Highway and the upcoming Setiawangsa-Pantai Expressway.
With the development value of RM550mil, the 57-storey property consists of 1,422 units of apartments with a built-up area ranging from 451sq ft to 859sq ft in eight layouts. The units are priced from RM354,000 onwards.
UOA Development Bhd senior manager Yap Kang Beng said the project, sitting on a 0.9ha site, was targeted at entry-level investors, young professionals and small families.
“Due to its connectivity and growing popularity, Bangsar South has a big catchment of office space and as a result, many local and multinational companies have established themselves here.
“Because of this, we noticed there is also demand for housing among working professionals and expats who are looking to buy or rent.
“Thus, this project was initiated to cater to their needs.
“With this affordable price and strategic location, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
“Taking into consideration that residents would want to unwind after a long day at work but, at the same time, do not want to travel in the traffic, we have also incorporated a two-storey commercial space for them to chill out and catch up with friends,” he said.
The 7,432sq m commercial podium will offer homeowners a wide selection of tenants ranging from food and beverage, convenience stores, clinic and pharmacy to a grocery store and other services.
As the apartment will also be connected to UOA Group’s upcoming hotel, residents will also get to enjoy 24-hour housekeeping services to be managed by the hotel.
“Since the registration opened on Sept 26, South Link has received positive response from the public.
“Once we receive our advertising permit and developer licence, we will launch the project,” Yap said, adding that the company hoped to launch by the end of the year.
Besides the standard facilities, the units will come partially furnished with air-conditioners, cooking hob, induction cooker, water heaters and kitchen cabinets.
Yap added that South Link and the hotel would be constructed concurrently and were scheduled for completion by the second quarter of 2021.
“With the apartment’s link to the commercial podium, hotel, highways, public transportation and landmarks, we hope to offer residents a comfortable, prestigious and affordable home in the centre of Klang Valley,” Yap said.
Other amenities in the area include The Sphere, Nexus Bangsar South, Mid Valley Megamall, Bangsar Village, Bangsar Shopping Centre, Universiti Malaya, University Malaya Medical Centre, Mahsa University and Pantai Hospital Bangsar.
