Nine Chinese independent schools to benefit from oil palm estate venture

THE road towards self-sufficiency is laid out for the nine Chinese independent schools in Perak.

Just two-and-a-half years after planting started, the first batch of oil palms on 1,012ha of land in Gunung Besout in Sungkai belonging to the schools has started to bear fruit.
