Efforts to boost real estate profession expected to bear fruit by year end

Ongoing efforts to raise professionalism in the real estate industry will start to show at the end of the year, said Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) president Siva Shanker.

The process to raise the level of professionalism in the real estate profession started last year when the Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents Malaysia decided to register the estimated 20,000 real estate negotiators that have been operating under regulator’s radar for many years.
