Malaysians are generally not starved for space. And while some urban areas are densely populated, they are no where near as crowded as cities such as Hong Kong, Bangkok and Singapore.

Nonetheless, the cost of space is becoming pricier and as homes become smaller. As a result storage space is becoming more valuable. This presents a great opportunity for self-storage businesses.
