Travelex Malaysia opens wholesale exchange centre in Penang

TRAVELEX Malaysia, which was launched in June last year by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, recenlty launched their northern regional wholesale centre in Penang to cater to licensed money changers and banks in Penang, Perlis, Kedah and Perak.

The centre, which is also Travelex’s first in South-East Asia, is located in Bishop Street and offers an extensive suite of foreign exchange products and services for those dealing in the supply and clearing of bank notes. As a one-stop foreign exchange solution, the centre will also add value to the northern region’s money services business and further develop Travelex Malaysia’s wholesale banknotes business to its trading partners.
