PETALING JAYA: PTT Synergy Group Bhd
is proposing to acquire four parcels of land, each with a unit of detached factory erected or to be erected thereon, in Klang, Selangor, from Sime Darby Property (Bukit Raja) Sdn Bhd for RM32mil.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, PTT Synergy said each property has an approximate built-up area of 8,414 sq ft.
“The proposed acquisition is for the business operation of PTT Synergy to accommodate business expansion.
“The group is taking prudent steps to acquire the properties from a renowned developer, namely Sime Darby Property Bhd, one of the biggest property developers in Malaysia which has many years of track records in developing residential, commercial and industrial properties.”
Barring any unforeseen circumstances and subject to the fulfilment of all conditions as stipulated in the sale and purchase agreement (SPA), PTT Synergy said the proposed acquisition is expected to be completed within 36 months from the date of SPA.
