Farm Price receives nod to transfer to Main Market

PETALING JAYA: Farm Price Holdings Bhd has received approval from Securities Commission Malaysia to transfer the listing and quotation of its entire issued share capital and the warrants from the ACE Market to the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd.

Farm Price is a Johor-based wholesaler and distributor of fresh vegetables, food and beverage products and other groceries.

In a statement, managing director Dr. Lawrence Tiong Lee Chian said Migrating to the Main Market has always been our goal.

“It will further enhance our visibility among institutional and retail investors, improve access to capital markets, and strengthen our platform to support expansion across both our core markets in Malaysia and Singapore.

“In addition, the move shall also elevate our stature, especially when dealing with our cross-border customers and suppliers.”

Overall, he said the impending Main Market transfer underscores Farm Price’s strategic trajectory and further distinguishes the group as a pioneering listed fresh vegetable distributor in Malaysia.

“Farm Price is the first fresh vegetable distributor to be listed on ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia back in May 2024, highlighting its unique positioning in the Malaysian corporate landscape.

“Looking ahead, we remain focused on scaling up our operational capacity to meet rising demand from both domestic and Singapore markets.”
