Airo launches Smart Cash for smarter investing habits

PETALING JAYA: Digital investment manager Airo Malaysia has launched Smart Cash, its latest syariah-compliant goal-based digital investment solution.

In a statement, Airo said Smart Cash reinforces its vision to make financial readiness simple, practical and accessible for every Malaysian.

“Instead of asking investors to decide where to invest first, Smart Cash starts with a financial goal.

“Users simply choose what they are preparing for, set a target amount and timeline, and invest consistently towards that goal while receiving ongoing guidance throughout their journey.”

Airo Malaysia chief executive officer Wendy Pang said: “Whether someone is preparing for next year’s insurance renewal or building an emergency fund, Smart Cash makes it easier to turn good intentions into consistent financial habits.”

Airo, which is regulated by the Securities Commission, is responsible for designing and managing the entire Smart Cash investment solution.

Supporting the investment journey is AVA, Airo’s artificial intelligence-powered investment companion, which keeps investors informed through goal progress updates, contribution reminders and portfolio information throughout their investment journey.

“If an investor misses a planned contribution, AVA helps identify ways to stay on track towards the intended financial goal.

“Achievement of any financial goal is not guaranteed and depends on market performance and the investor’s own contributions,” it added.

“To support the investment strategy, Airo constructs and manages the portfolio by investing in professionally managed underlying funds from Eastspring Investments Bhd.”
