Vantris to exit PN17 status tomorrow


Bursa said Vantris Energy is no longer classified as a PN17 company after successfully meeting all requirements for the removal of the status.

PETALING JAYA: Vantris Energy Bhd, formerly known as Sapura Energy Bhd, is set to be uplifted from its classification as a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company effective Thursday, June 18, 2026.

The local bourse said Vantris Energy is no longer classified as a PN17 company after successfully meeting all requirements for the removal of the status.

“The approval marks a major milestone in Vantris Energy’s recovery journey, following the successful completion of its financial restructuring and the delivery of two consecutive quarters of profitability,” it said in a statement.

Vantris Energy has been classified as a PN17 company since May 2022, following a period of significant financial distress.

The group completed its regula- risation plan and achieved the “Restructuring Effective Date” on Sept 26, 2025.
