Agrobank offers targeted support amid global uncertainty

KUALA LUMPUR: Agrobank will continue to provide targeted assistance to customers affected by ongoing global uncertainty, including developments in West Asia.

In a statement today, the bank said that in line with industry efforts, Agrobank adopts a needs-based, focused approach, including restructuring and rescheduling financing, as well as advisory services to help customers manage financial challenges.

President and group chief executive officer Datuk Tengku Ahmad Badli Shah Raja Hussin said the bank remains committed to supporting customers, especially agropreneurs and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), during this challenging period.

"Customers facing difficulties are encouraged to contact us early to explore appropriate assistance," he said.

As a development financial institution, Agrobank will continue to support the resilience of the agricultural sector and ensure national food security, while closely monitoring current developments. - Bernama
