Tune Talk targets five million subscribers by 2027

KUALA LUMPUR: Tune Talk Sdn Bhd aims to grow its subscriber base to five million by the end of 2027, with a potential initial public offering (IPO) to be evaluated thereafter.

Tune Talk co-founder and chief executive officer Gurtaj Singh Padda expressed confidence that the target is achievable, noting that the company currently has 1.8 million subscribers.

“End of 2027 is where we think that we should be closer to five million. That is the North Pole, that is the effort, hopefully we will get there. Should we, as a team, discuss the possibility of going public?

“My employees are my shareholders now; they will decide,” Bernama quoted him as saying yesterday.

On Feb 11, 2026, Tune Talk announced the establishment of an Employee Share Trust Scheme. It is a strategic initiative designed to strengthen long-term financial security for its workforce as the company accelerates its path toward an IPO.
