Indonesia 2026 GDP target is 5.4% with potential upside to 5.6%, senior minister says


JAKARTA: Indonesia's 2026 economy has the potential to grow by 5.6%, above the 5.4% target for this year, supported by investment activities by sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia and by government projects, a senior minister said on Friday.

Chief economic minister Airlangga Hartarto also noted that stock market sentiment has improved this week after a recent market rout. - Reuters
