KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

BM Greentech Bhd has secured construction and supply contracts worth a total of RM71.8mn linked to a 36 megawatt-peak solar plant with battery energy storage system project at KLIA Aeropolis.

Powerwell Holdings Bhd’s unit Powerwell International Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM68.5mn purchase order from a multinational technology corporation specialising in data centres.

Geohan Corp Bhd has secured two piling contracts worth a combined RM32.2mn from subsidiaries of Sunway Bhd, marking its first expansion into Johor.

OCK Group Bhd’ subsidiary, OCK Datawave Sdn Bhd, has entered into a distributorship agreement with Fujikura Ltd, effective from January to December 2026, to distribute Fujikura’s wrapping tube optical fibre cable solutions and related accessories.

Kinergy Advancement Bhd is selling a 49% stake in its power project company to Thailand’s private power producer B.Grimm Power Public Co Ltd for RM41.5mn.

Sasbadi Holdings Berhad has entered into a non-binding tripartite MoU with Intel Microelectronics (M) Sdn Bhd and Maistorage Technology Sdn Bhd to explore collaboration in education technology across Southeast Asia, starting with Malaysia.

Axis Real Estate Investment Trust posted a higher net profit of RM133.9mn for the 4QFY25 versus RM91.0mn a year earlier, supported by resilient net property income.

Capitaland Malaysia Trust reported a 12.4% YoY increase in 4QFY25 net property income to RM81.5mn, driven by contributions from newly acquired industrial and logistics assets and resilient retail performance.

IGB Real Estate Investment Trust’s 4QFY25 NPI surged 44.3% YoY to RM155.7mn, supported by improved rentals and additional contributions from Mid Valley Southkey Mall following its acquisition.

IGB Commercial REIT recorded a 37.5% YoY increase in 4QFY25 NPI to RM38.8mn, with revenue rising 14.3% YoY to RM68.8mn, underpinned by stronger office rentals.

DXN Holdings Bhd’s net profit for the 3QFY26 fell 30.2% YoY to RM64.8mn, marking its weakest quarterly performance in three years, largely due to adverse foreign exchange translation effects from a stronger ringgit.

Chin Teck Plantations Bhd’s net profit for the 1QFY26 edged up 4.7% to RM34.1mn, supported by higher average selling prices and sales volumes of crude palm oil and palm kernel.

Guocoland (Malaysia) Bhd’s net profit fell 9.5% to RM6.7mn in the 2QFY26 due to the absence of contribution from Emerald Hills’ North Tower following vacant possession in Dec 2024 and a lower share of profit from Emerald Rawang.
