Exsim secures RM22mil apartment job

PETALING JAYA: Exsim Hospitality Bhd has accepted a letter of appointment by HAB Construction Sdn Bhd for the supply, fabrication, delivery and installation of interior fit-out works to apartment units for a 50-storey mixed commercial development at Jalan Sultan Ismail, Kuala Lumpur, worth RM21.9mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the hospitality firm said the sub-contract works commenced on Sept 3, 2024 and is scheduled for completion on Jan 2, 2028, with a duration of 40 months.

Exsim said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the net assets per share, earnings per share and gearing of the company throughout the duration of the works. The company does not foresee any exceptional risk other than the normal operational risks associated with the letter of appointment and the nominated sub-contract works.

“Nevertheless, the company will take the necessary steps to mitigate the risks as and when they occur,” it said.
