Opensys bags RM22mil supply contract

PETALING JAYA: Opensys (M) Bhd has received and accepted a purchase order (PO) from an existing customer, Reachful Malaysia Sdn Bhd, for the supply of new cash recycling machines (CRM) worth RM22.05mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the transformative outsourcing services company said the delivery of the CRMs will be in tranches and is expected to be fully completed by Dec 31, 2026.

“The PO is not expected to have any effect on the issued share capital or substantial shareholders’ shareholdings in the company. However, the PO is expected to contribute positively to the consolidated earnings and net assets per share of the group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.”

Opensys added that the risks associated with the PO are those typically encountered in the ordinary course of business, including but not limited to, operational risks, supply chain disruptions and fluctuations in raw material costs.
