KUALA LUMPUR: Here is a recap of the announcements that made headlines in Corporate Malaysia.

Genting Bhd said its unit, Genting Vista Bhd, has issued its maiden series of medium-term notes with a nominal value of RM3.0bn under a newly established RM5.0bn unrated MTN programme lodged earlier this month.

Sunview Group Bhd said it is acquiring a halted large-scale solar project in Pekan, Pahang, for RM70.0mn in cash from PKNP Reneuco Suria Sdn Bhd.

Apex Healthcare Bhd said its voluntary takeover offer has surpassed the 90% compulsory acquisition threshold, enabling the offeror to acquire the remaining shares and proceed with delisting.

Chin Hin Group Bhd said its 95.0%-owned subsidiary, Kayangan Kemas Sdn Bhd, has commenced arbitration proceedings against Exyte Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the main contractor for the Intel Pelican Project in Bayan Lepas, Penang, seeking about RM201.0mn over a subcontract dispute.

Cypark Resources Bhd said its unit, Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd, has fully redeemed its outstanding Tranche 1 perpetual sukuk amounting to RM235.0mn.

Citaglobal Bhd said Datuk Shabaruddin Ibrahim, executive chairman of Mutiara Perlis Sdn Bhd, has emerged as a substantial shareholder with a 9.0% stake.

Heitech Padu Bhd said it has secured a RM17.6mn contract from the Ministry of Health to supply ICT equipment and undertake a network upgrade for Miri Hospital in Sarawak.

Insas Bhd has ceased to be a substantial shareholder in Omesti Bhd after disposing of 197.4mn shares, representing an 8.5% stake.

Propel Global Bhd said shareholders have approved all resolutions tabled at its EGM, including the proposed disposal of its remaining 70.0% equity interest in Propel Maxflo for RM17.2mn.

Solar District Cooling Group Bhd has proposed a bonus issue of warrants on the basis of one free warrant for every two existing shares held.

TT Vision Holdings Bhd said its wholly owned subsidiary, TT Vision Technologies Sdn Bhd, has secured several purchase orders worth RM7.1mn for its solar cell inspection equipment from a major customer.

UEM Sunrise Bhd said it has succeeded in its counterclaims in an arbitration against Ireka Corporation Bhd’s unit, Ireka Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd, relating to the Imperia mixed development in Puteri Harbour, Johor.
