Sunview's indirect subsidiary inks 21-year PPA with TNB


PETALING JAYA: Sunview Group Bhd's indirect subsidiary SunPark (Pasir Panjang) Sdn Bhd has entered into the 21-year long power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tenaga Nasional Bhd for the purpose of development and operation of solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generating facility under the LSS PETRA 5+ programme.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Sunview noted Sunview Asset Management Sdn Bhd holds a 51% stake in SunPark while the remaining stake is held by Cypark Renewable Energy Sdn Bhd.

SunPark will design, construct, own, operate and maintain a 99.99MWac capacity solar PV energy generating facility at Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. 

The plant is scheduled to begin commercial operations by Feb 29, 2028.
