Silver Ridge gets RM43mil govt contract


PETALING JAYA: Silver Ridge Holdings Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance of tender by the Education Ministry to provide laptops (on a lease-to-own basis) for the usage of teachers’ in schools and educational institutions under the ministry (Zone 2-Sarawak), worth RM42.88mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the information technology products provider said the contract is for a period of 64 months from Jan 1, 2026 until April 30, 2031.

It said the tender contract will comprise the initial four-month period of supply, installation, testing and commissioning and the remaining 60 months of lease period.

“The tender contract will not have any material effect on the earnings of the group for the next financial year ending June 30, 2026,” the company said.
