ITMAX bags RM36mil govt contract


PETALING JAYA: ITMax System Bhd has accepted a letter of acceptance from the Home Affairs Ministry for the provision of installation and rental services for a closed-circuit camera system at the national border entry and exit points of Peninsular Malaysia under the Immigration Department of Malaysia, worth RM36mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ITMAX said the contract is for a period of 36 months commencing July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029.

The company said there will be a five-month installation phase commencing Feb 1 to June 30, 2026.

This will then be followed by a 36-month rental phase commencing upon completion of the installation phase.

“The letter of acceptance is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the company over the period until the expiry of the contract period.”
