Cheeding wins RM14mil TNB contract


PETALING JAYA: Cheeding Holdings Bhd has secured a contract worth RM13.54mil from Tenaga Nasional Bhd or TNB to perform contract works for a transmission main intake at Genting Sempah, Pahang.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction engineering firm said the nature of contract is the dismantling of existing 132 kilovolts primary equipment and the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of new primary equipment with new steel structures.

Cheeding said the contract will be effective from Dec 9, 2025 and will be completed within 540 days from the commencement date of the works, which would be determined later.

Cheeding said the award is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company over the duration of the contract.
