AWC unit secures RM52mil mosque contract


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Ambang Wira Facilities Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM52.28mil contract to provide facilities management and maintenance services for Kompleks Masjid Putra in Putrajaya.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the engineering and facilities management firm said Ambang Wira signed and accepted a letter of acceptance from the Public Works Department on Dec 9.

Additionally, the 5.25-year contract will officially run from Feb 1, 2026 to April 30, 2031.

According to AWC, the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets throughout the contract period.
