SSBB secures two data centre jobs totalling RM97.6mil

PETALING JAYA: Southern Score Builders Bhd’s (SSBB) 51% owned subsidiary, SJEE Engineering Sdn Bhd, has secured two data centre jobs from a “local construction company” totalling RM97.58mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the construction management specialist said the first contract, worth RM87.8mil, involves the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical and extra-low voltage system for a data centre.

Meanwhile, the second contract, worth RM9.78mil, involves the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, maintenance and warranty of an electrical work package for a data centre.

In a statement, SSBB executive director and chief executive officer Gan Yee Hin said the SJEE has secured a total of five contracts in 2025.

“With this, SJEE’s total contracts secured for the year have reached RM271mil.

“This reflects SJEE’s established track record and strong technical capabilities, demonstrated through the successful delivery of projects across various sectors, including high-tech, data centre, and healthcare/pharmaceutical industries.”
