Creador acquires 7% stake in India’s La Renon Healthcare


 

PETALING JAYA: Private equity firm Creador has acquired a 7% stake in India-based pharmaceutical firm, La Renon Healthcare, from its promoter and an existing investor.

La Renon’s promoter family, led by managing director and founder Pankaj Singh, will continue to hold a controlling stake.

Meanwhile, Peak XV Partners, an Indian spin-off of American venture capital firm Sequoia Capital, will remain as a shareholder, Creador said in a statement.

Creador said the transaction marks its continued focus on partnering with high-quality healthcare companies.

“La Renon is among India’s fastest-growing pharmaceutical companies, having delivered a 25% compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue and a 30% CAGR in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (ebitda) over the last decade.

“For financial year 2025 (FY25), the company reported revenue of INR 1,685 crore and ebitda of INR 356 crore and is poised to sustain its strong growth momentum and deliver another year of record profitability in FY26.”

Commenting on the investment, Pankaj said Creador’s investment marks a major milestone in the company’s rapid growth journey and reflects a strong confidence in its performance track record.

“Creador’s deep experience and understanding of the healthcare sector make them an ideal long-term partner for us.”

Founded in 2007, La Renon is a leading player in branded formulation market in India with a strong presence in nephrology, neurology, and other chronic segments.
