PetDag stays cautiously optimistic after softer 3Q

For 3Q25, PetDag’s revenue slipped 2% to RM9.53bil from RM9.73bil a year ago.

PETALING JAYA: Petronas Dagangan Bhd (PetDag) remains “cautiously optimistic” for the remainder of 2025, despite a weaker third quarter (3Q25) hit by lower fuel prices.

In its 3Q25 results filing, the retailer and marketer of Petroliam Nasional Bhd’s (PETRONAS) downstream petroleum products said the domestic economy is expected to stay resilient for the year, supported by strong private consumption, the Budi95 initiative and rising inbound tourism ahead of Visit Malaysia 2026.
