Land & General's 2Q net profit leaps to RM14.1mil on higher property, education contribution

PETALING JAYA: Land & General Bhd’s net profit for the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (2Q26) surged by more than six times to RM14.1mil.

This translates to earnings per share (EPS) of 0.47 sen. Revenue in 2Q26 jumped by more than two times to RM132.8mil.

The property group’s higher revenue and earnings were mainly due to higher contributions from the property division and its education division.

For the six-month period ended Sept 30, 2025 (6M26), the group’s net profit increased by 306% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM25.5mil, or EPS of 0.86 sen. Revenue rose by 171% y-o-y to RM231.3mil.

Land & General managing director Low Gay Teck said the company remained focused on driving sustainable growth through disciplined project execution and strategic launches looking ahead.

“The years spent developing both our property and education divisions are now bearing fruit, with both segments contributing strongly to our bottom line. In the education division, we continue to expect a steady and recurring income stream, with ample room to grow as demand for holistic education continues to rise,” he noted in a statement yesterday.

The group has plans for two property development launches in the coming nine months — SDC Plot 4 in Bandar Sri Damansara and Sena Parc’s Begonia (Phase 1B) in Senawang — with an estimated combined gross development value (GDV) of RM711mil.

The group’s unbilled sales currently stand at RM622mil as at Sept 30, 2025, which is expected to translate into further revenue growth for the company over the next 24 months.
